I bought this suit(and wide tie!) in 1973! It was my first credit card purchase (Renbergs $125.00 ) and I answered a classified ad that read "GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY". It read "public relations $185.00 per week". Being a highly skilled public speaker I thought this was my perfect calling! After the interview I realized that" public relations" meant going door to door selling encyclopedias! Since I already had the perfect suit (Ha!) I began relating to the public! I had a passion and the "positive mental attitude" to make millions!!! Soon I realized that I would have to knock at least 40 million more doors and decided to take my "positive mental attitude" to an easier position! I entertained many "sales opportunities" including phone sales,vacuums,adjustable beds,time shares, real estate,solar energy,combs,condoms & conduit(Ha!) until I answered an ad in the Sunday classifieds for home improvement sales! It was cold and I was broke and it offered $300.00 per week draw! I had a lot of success selling windows and siding to people who would put up with a 3 hour sales visit! I wasn't comfortable with selling people products at more than twice their real value so I bounced around to a few other home improvement companies who also viewed each customer as a wallet! I am different! I want some of your money(not all of it!) If honesty,integrity,responsibility,performance and quality are what your looking for in your home improvement decision I AM THE MAN!!!! Our company motto is: IT'S NICE TO BE IMPORTANT. BUT IT'S MORE IMPORTANT TO BE NICE!
